Mostly W-2 Individuals & Small Businesses (C-Corps, S-Corps, LLC's & Not-for-Profit ) Tax Services. The current owner uses radio spots and referrals for growth. 95% of the gross is tax preparation related. There is a very small amount of accounting work involved. Approximately 90% of the clients meet with the seller for a tax interview annually. So, the current location will work best for the buyer but an office anywhere in West LA should work as well. Seller is open to a merger and joining the buyer (if a CPA Firm) as a Partner. He is a Big 4 alum, and currently an Adjunct Professor for Golden Gate University School of Taxation. If an outright sale, the seller may go work for the IRS, or for one of the Big 4 CPA Firms.
