Audit and review clients are primarily general construction contractors. There are 2 nonprofit associations that receive an audit. There is no real specialty or niche but an understanding of construction contracting would be helpful for a buyer. 90% of the tax clients come to the office for their tax work. None of the audit or review clients visit the office. The base fee for the average tax return is $300. Consulting rates are $80-$100 an hour, audit review is $190-225 an hour.
