The firm has 90-100 clients, almost all S Corps, C Corps or LLC's, only about 3-4 sole proprietors. There is a focus only on Accounting Services; bookkeeping, payroll, sales tax, workers comp, property taxes, etc.   For some clients they handle every piece of paper with a number and other clients they do after-the-fact bookkeeping. They may close monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually. All but two clients use QuickBooks accounting software.   Many of the clients have multiple entities and complex structures and detailed inter-company entries. Firm often does budgeting forecasting and regular financial analysis to assist owner in making financial decisions for their businesses. This firm also does payroll processing for about 40 clients. There is no tax or audit work here. This CPA works closely with several tax practices which are great referral sources.
